The most exciting part of our high school life is participating/attending in the Juniors-Seniors Promenade.
February 15, 2008(Friday)--this is the night the Juniors and Seniors are waiting for. The night where the ladies wear their elegant dresses and jewelries and the gentlemen on their suits.
The promenade started at #:00 in the afternoon. But sad to say, I haven't attended the promenade because I was late in going to school. At 4:00 p.m., we took our snacks then we proceeded immediately to the gymnasium. Then, Dr. Giovanni Velasco delivered his speech/message to welcome the '08 JS-Prom.
My first dance was a 4th year student from Bonifacio. And my ladies choice was my classmate--Harley Espejo.
I enjoyed very much the JS-Prom this year than last year. But sad to say this will be the last JS-Prom that we will be attending because we will graduate already.

it's time.......

After the third periodical test....
.......here we are again......
Here we are in the computer room... again...
But I think our lesson is more interesting...
...compared to our previous activities....
why???????

Second quarter is over and third periodical examination is coming again. This third grading period, we had discussed about the HTML Links. In this lesson, Ihave leraned on how to link another document on the web. I have also learned about the anchor tag which is used to create a link to another document and the href attribute which is also used to address the document to link to. We had also discussed about the HTML Images and in this lesson I have learned on how to display an image on a page.
Its now 3rd quarter but I still encounter such problems. One problem that I have encountered is that when I was making our web design. I was really hard up to make because I do not know the tags to be used.
In order for me to finish our web design, I asked help from my classmate, Mary Rose, regarding the problem that I have met. Because of her patience in telling me the things that I will do, I did our web design very well.
Moving on............................ I will be more focused on my studies.

My Fourth Blog ( carla )
Fourth grading period...................this time we learned about the TAGS including the tag attributes and also the HTML Text Formatting. I see it very very interesting because we can learn from it.... And also I have experience on how to apply background in my activities.
About the problems that I have also encountered..........one of those was when we were making our activity # 8 about background color...... in this activity we were to choose what background we want to apply in our activity. But.......that was not easy for me because I do not know what background will I apply.
But.......... before the bell rings, I have already finished my activity that i was doing for almost one hour....... And this is with the help of my very supportive classmates and friends especially Ana Katrina Singson for her patience.
Moving on...........I will continue learning and learning....

After our first periodical test we started again our lessons for the second grading period. We discussed about the HTML or the Hypertext Mark-up Language. We also made our activities for this grading period using the notepad. It's my first time to enter in the notepad section so i felt happy and excited to make my activities. We also made our written activities regarding the tags we used in our activity.
Honestly speaking, our first periodical test was not so easy not so difficult but it's just okey. But the problem that I have encountered was on the part that you have to give the meaning of the acronyms. I reviewed very well but during the test, I've forgotten some of the meanings of the terms. Some of the challenges that I have also met was in typing in the notepad. I cannot open my notepad for the simple reason that I have made a mistake when I was typing my recent activities.
In order for me to open my activity and see how it looks, first thing that I did is to ask help from my classmates who have more knowledge on this thing. After they have seen the mistake that I have made, I immediately corrected it in order to open it and view the outcome of my work.
Moving on......................
I will study H-A-R-D-E-R and I will do my B-E-S-T in order to cope up with the lessons that we are taking and in order for me also not to encounter these problems again.........

My Second Blog (carla)
1.) What are the new learnings/discoveries that I have learned?
For the past two (2) weeks, I have experienced creating a blog. But before creating of course, the first thing that I have encounter was the meaning of BLOG. And as Mrs. Vera Cruz taught to us, BLOG is a user website where entries are made in normal style and displayed in a reverse chronological order. We have also discussed the types of blog(by media, device, genre and by legal status publishers. Another learning that I have learned was about the Search Engines. And here in this Search Engines, I have come to know that the term "blog" is derived from the "weblog" and it can also be used to maintain or add content to blog. Lastly, I have also learned the Advantages of Blog to us, students.
2.) What are the challenges/problems that I have encountered?
In creating my first blog, one problem that I have encountered was it's not that so easy to create blog and I don't understand the steps on how to create a blog.
3.) How did I addressed these challenges?
With the help of our teacher, Mrs. Vera Cruz, I easily understood the steps on how to create a blog.
4.) Moving on.................................
I will be more studious in order to understand all the lessons which we will encounter.
